Tip 3
Set up an editorial calendar.
When to write about what?
- Determine your regularity of blogging
- Write down your expected publish dates for the upcoming 2-4 months
- Add the subject and category to every date
Now you know in advance, which subject you want to write about, and for which category. When you see something of interest on internet, a magazine or a newspaper, you can bookmark or save it in a special folder. It will save you time because half of your research is done when you are ready to write about this subject.

Hi Loes,
What a great tutorial. I am hopeless at planning a blog. I tend to wing it and it takes me a long time to finish one. It's because I have a messy mind I think. I don't have any particular organisation in how I go about it and often I create the headings in the articles as I write. However this makes it very difficult to actually teach someone else how to go about writing a blog. I am hoping to help my daughter with her own blogging and she has some issues with how to start and set it out. I am going to bookmark your training here to my favourites so I can bring her here for a good starting point. Thanks again for your tireless and helpful contributions to the WA community.
