Video 11 and the next one will be on Monday Feb 26, 2018
Here is the link I mentioned
https://www.semrush.com/lp/site-audit-2/en/
It will be worth your time to check your site. It will point out many of the problems that need to be fixed to get your post to start ranking.

I did the semrush report, but not sure i know what I'm looking at. Of course my site is quite new with only about 15 posts that I'm still trying to edit to fix all the things I was doing wrong before this training! That may be the reason this report is not telling me much.
When everyone is giving their site score, is that Backlinks Types? It's the only one I see a % for in my report.

My site came back with a score of 80%. When I dug deeper it says things like 31 pages have low word count, so I drill down to see which pages don't have enough and it's catergory and archives and things that are not suppose to have word counts, or meta descriptions.
So, I'm thinking some of this I don't need to worry about. I did however find some things I can take care of.

Wow 51 posts in 2 months! You must have a lot of time and then out of your 882 visitors you had 702 comments! That's a lot of interaction. I can't even get my friends with dogs to subscribe to receive a free dog treat recipe on my niche site. I do need to look at my CTA I know and will do that this weekend. I look forward to following you and getting traffic.
I had a Valentine's Day dog pancake recipe I posted on Feb 13th and it is ranked by google already, whereas older posts have been ranked by Bing and Yahoo and not google yet. I have found google very difficult to rank. That valentine's post ranked in google still isn't showing in Site Content. I hope that gets fixed soon.
It is slowly working...

Just in time, I finished last lessons with checking keyword density found I average the minimum of three and above, the extra ones are added to a normal flow of content. Now to go back and change my alt tags (which I read a long time ago to put in keywords) to more meaningful sentences. Looking forward to running the above programme.
Thanks for the lesson Bo,

Thanks Bo , good and informative video. If I could ask a question, I did a local search review on a site I have for my energy efficient homes here in Australia using Bright local. I know I have still got a lot of work to do on it but the review came up very poor and I noticed the google search was reviewed on google .com.
I am getting up to about 60 enquiries a month from organic searches and this is not too bad for me and some of my keywords are now on first and 2nd pages on Google com.au so am I wrong in thinking these tools that use only Google.com to review my site are not going to help me at all ?
And some of the directories they suggest for citations don't seem to be used as much in Australia,
so am I better off searching for Australian directories to improve my sites visibility.
Sorry for the long winded question Bo, but I need to work out a direction to take and I am still fairly new at this.
