There are a few author box plugins freely available within the WordPress repository. I checked out several recently and albeit the name is somewhat risque' I opted for this one:

  • Once you've installed it simply go to your WordPress Admin Dashboard and then go to Settings > Sexy Author Bio

Okay, so I installed the plugin and noticed some pretty sweet little features:

As I mentioned it not only works with your WordPress user profile, it will support multiple users - which is great for those providing guest posts. It helps keep things streamlined and themed nicely!

It is responsive and offers several different Social icon layouts:

You can have it automatically added OR you can manually add it with WordPress shortcode.

Hi PJ, I was impressed by your signature and photo at the end of each blog but didn't give it much thought until now. It's one of those subtle tweaks that register more on a subconscious level (I think). Thanks for pointing this out and great info as always!
