You can check the followers of an influencer to determine if the followers are fake or genuine. Check the follower’s profile, if they are real and genuine, they should have a detailed profile and likewise they should also have a presence on social media.

A good follower should have posted something somewhere, although this should not be all but a good percentage.

Remember what you need is an influencer with a real and genuine follower. A fictitious influencer will be of no use to your business.

Investing your time and resources in a fake influencer is a waste of resources and may negatively impact your brand reputation in the long run. As such, checking and running a detailed analysis of your influencer is important to enable you to gain genuine influencers with top engagement

Good points! I don't know why these weeks I've been receiving a few DMs on Instagram by random accounts offering sale of followers and likes. Pure nonsense, I always delete those messages straight away.

Another thing I dislike is follow/unfollow.
