Training In Wealthy Affiliate - Which Path To Choose?

There are two options to choose from in the training here at Wealthy Affiliate and sometimes this can become overwhelming for the New Comer and confusing to say the least.

The options are:

  • Getting Started: Online Entrepreneur Certification
  • Affiliate Bootcamp

"Now," you say, "Which one am I supposed to choose? What's the difference?"

This is a very valid question, and I wish I had known about this training I'm creating when I started. It has taken me a long while to understand the difference between the two and why each should be studied in it's own right.

So without further ado, let's discuss each one of these and then make our decision.

Your training will help new members make an informed decision about which path to take.

You correctly point out in page 4 that premium content is blocked for Free members and if they wish to earn affiliate commission by promoting WA, it makes sense to get started with Bootcamp.

Free members get access to the first ten lessons in each stream:

Get Started Course 1: Consists of ten lessons
Bootcamp Phase 1: Consists of ten lessons

When they try to progress to Course/Phase 2 level in either stream, they will get a message that says:

"We're sorry, you do not have access to this Premium content. Please upgrade your membership to gain exclusive access to this and all other Premium content at Wealthy Affiliate".

I think this is what you are saying - just wanted to clarify it.

Well done! ~Jude

Thanks Jude! I believe the training information I looked at must be way out of date! Then, at that time, it was said it was 100% Free. I was not aware this had changed. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Will amend it accordingly.

Good job. On page 5, at the close of paragraph you have the word learnt and I believe you should have used learned. I hope you have learned something.

In my humble opinion it is a variation on the past tense of learn. I used it as it rolls off the tongue easier than if you one would have used learned.

Herewith is confirmation of its usage:
Learned is the more common past tense and past participle of the verb learn. Learnt is a variant especially common outside North America. In British writing, for instance, it appears about once for every three instances of learned.

That's correct. When I moved to Australia from North America, it sounded strange to me to read or hear people say 'learnt'....lol. ~Jude

I'm sitting here with a little smile on my face. Couldn't help myself from an add on comment here, Edu...I moved from Scotland to Australia and didn't flinch at "learned" or "learnt". I think I must be used to both words being used interchangeably now. The Aussies have rubbed off on me :)

Thanks for the training. I know I struggled with which course and niche to start with when I signed up to WA, Edu.

Thanks Annie! The English language although universal is written in various forms and fashions and it's amazing how it has evolved since its early inception. We wouldn't even understand the original English language, as the sound and formation of words was very different back then!
