I remembered that WP had a setting you could make so it wouldn't keep so many, but I couldn't find to find it now. So I used a plugin to clean up my revisions.
This plugin allows me to decide how many revisions I want to keep and deletes the rest automatically.
You can also schedule it to do a cleanup daily, weekly or even monthly if you don't write that much. It's just a small detail, but every piece counts toward making your website great

you don't really need to do that in SiteContent, it's to the cloud so not hogging up space on your website, also when we publish to wp then it's not there anymore...you certainly would not have a plugin involved in sitecontent...

I have just done it myself and also my website is still small, so the changes wouldn't be massive. My website speed has improved from 85 to 95 now that I checked, but I can't guarantee it was only this. But having a database that's lower size is a good thing. Of course referring to the useless stuff as revisions.
