The addition of subcategories also aids in not having an over populated menu at the top allowing your reader to see more of the content rather than a huge menu bar.

Just when I thought I had the problem solvered...it struck again when I was trying to add three new pages to one of my sites...
I must have something ticked or something...the 3 new categories to appear at the top of my site...but noooooooooooo...it ain't happening and I've done it soooooooo many times before...
