When someone visits your website they may take a look at your post and possibly at some other posts you have written.
So analytics sees this and watches. If your visitor just looks at your first post and then that visitor leaves to go and look at another website, it is called bouncing.
They haven't gone any further than your first page, possibly they haven't even read your post. (How annoying!) But now you have a 100% bounce rate and all you had was one lousy visitor!
Don't panic though!

I read Mat's comment on my posting challenge post and thought, hmmmm, that might make for a decent tutorial.
