All it is, is a statistic and how you interpret it determines if it's good or bad.

Maybe they landed on one of your affiliate pages and went straight out to buy whatever it is you are selling and are now on Amazon (or other) and you are making squillions there.

So it's not always bad news.

But if your website is all about your content and they are not staying then that's not so good. You want your visitor's to stay as long as possible to get an idea of what you are about and you are trying to build trust.

Without trust your site will have a hard time making a living. Trust is what we all desire, no one wants to get 'ripped off'.

So how do you build trust and get them to stay?...

God I hate it when I see articles like that shared on FB...I'm assuming they are trying to manipulate their numbers

I read Mat's comment on my posting challenge post and thought, hmmmm, that might make for a decent tutorial.
