In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to improve organic rankings, boost traffic and conversions by increasing your page speed. Plus, you'll learn how you can provide better user experience for your audience.
What is Page Speed?
Page speed is frequently confused with site speed, which is fundamentally the page speed for a snippet of page views on a website.
Page speed is described either in “Time to first byte” (the time taken for your web browser to obtain the first byte of data from the web server) or Page load time (the time it takes the web server to have the content fully loaded on a specific page).
Your page speed can be evaluated using Google's PageSpeed Insights. This tool reports on two crucial speed metrics such as DOM Content Loaded (DCL) and First Contentful Paint (FCP) and also integrates data from Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX).
