1) Use Keywords
When it comes to finding website pages, Keywords are the magic words. Human and search engines engage them to match both content and search queries. Even we use the text in our Url to assume what the link should be pointing to. As such engaging your URL based on keywords makes them highly relevant to users.
It tells the users what your ULR is, as such human can easily save your URL for future use without necessarily visiting the content. While search engines too highly depend on them to match your searches to users request.
Much more, it is important to have your keyword in your URL, but you should avoid stuffing your URL with Keywords. Placing keywords repeatedly in your link makes it look like spam. Rather than creating a good user experience, it will decrease the chances of getting a click.
Top of it, search engines have frowned at keyword stuffing. It is neither beneficial to search engine ranking, nor does it create a good user experience.
2) HomePage
Your website homepage is the focal point and the most powerful page on your website. It is the page with the highest inbound links, so we can call it the gateway to your traffic. Avoid multiple links to your home page. The link to your home page should be simple and very straightforward.
