Destination

Ultimately, to get to where you want to be involves knowing where you’re going. You must have a definite destination in mind and decided upon. Better yet, you should express this destination in writing. Knowing where you want to go is important because if you don’t know where you want to be, how will you know when you’ve arrived? “I want to make some sales” and “I want to make money online” are not statements of a definite destination. You need to put it into writing something like you want to make an average of 25 sales per day as of June 1, 2014, or that you want to be making $1500 per month by August 2014. Having a destination and reaching it can give you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. It will re-energize and refuel you to keep you rolling down the highway to success!

Some great tips here. I'm certainly guilty of gathering all knowledge as it presents itself on an "I will need to know this at some stage" basis. Then I forget it anyway because I don't have any need to apply it yet. I need to remind myself often to focus on the task at hand and celebrate achieving it. Chocolate does it for me. :)
