Step 5: Now that you have created your first product you will want to check it out..

I didn't put a body description in this example, so you only see the review tab, however if I did there would have been the description tab there as well. In case you need a quick refresher, the description that will show up in the description tab is the one that you put in the first portion of the add product screen. The description that you see on the right side, is the brief description you would put in the bottom after you have chosen your product type.

Once you start to create product, you can see a list in your dashboard that will allow for quick edit and full edit options. This looks exactly how your page and post list looks.

To access this, you would simply click on products in your dashboard menu.

Now that you have gone through all of these steps, you can visit your shop on your website and see how things look from there.

When you start to see sales of your product, WooCommerce will track your progress in their built in reports..

I'm someone that like to see progress so this is an added benefit for me...

I really hope I was able to answer any questions you may have had along the way. Thank you for reading, and I wish you all the best of luck building out your new e-commerce stores.

Hi Lynzy, it's listed on Sophie5391's profile page and it should be listed on the right side menu under the "Training" section...you'll have to scroll down a bit to see it.

Hope that helps!
Best wishes :) ~Sherry

Your a darling Sophie! Thanks so much. This is great.

Just a quick question. If I am selling an affiliate product does it allow for those links in the page?

Cheers, Kev

Hi Kev, I'm happy that this offers some help :) and yes, when you are creating your main description or product description in the new product window, the same icon and process we would use to add affiliate links to our pages and posts is available for you... good question!
