1. Identify Your Specific Audience
Prior to writing, it’s important that you first know who your target audience is, and what their interest could be.
Since guessing wouldn’t suffice your content marketing goals, you’ll do well by making data-explored decisions through the use of competition analysis and industry content research.
Does this sound ambiguous? It actually isn’t. You have a couple of resources out there to utilize at your own disposal. Here are some of the ones I constantly use:
Jaaxy Keyword Tool: This is an amazing keyword tool that you can leverage to find out what the most commonly-searched keywords are in your respective industry. By running the search, you’ll get details for competition in any searched keyword, Article power, searches and traffic.
Quora: This is a great Question & Answer platform to find questions people in your industry are most asking.
SEMRush: This is a premium tool, but it performs extremely well anyway, and lets you spy on your rivals to grab their working ideas.
Twitter Advanced Search: By simply typing your keyword and selecting the questions filter, you’ll get all those questions people in your industry are most asking.
