4 - Be Strategic With Your Use of Keywords

Keywords are terms and phrases that people type into search bars when they are looking for some particular information. Also, search engines deliver search results to their users based on the keywords they are searching for.

That's how vital keywords are to both online users and search engines. If you want your target audience to be able to find your content through search engines, then you must include the right keywords in your posts.

During keyword research, you'll be able to find those keywords that your target audience is using to search the web. It is advisable that you include at least 5 different keywords in each post to increase your chances of ranking for any of them.

5 - Create High-Quality Content

If you want to attract search engine traffic to your site, you have to ensure that your site is filled with high-quality content.

You can create content that provides the best answers to topics that are in your niche or industry. Publish content that provides detailed answers to what your target audience is searching for.

Quality contents are detailed, easy to read, understandable, and organized, and they usually come in long-form (2,000 to 4,000 words). Creating high-quality content will require more research efforts and investment in time and money.

However, it is better to have a few high-quality posts than having hundreds of articles that are of low quality. So you've got to focus your efforts on creating high-quality content in order to attract quality traffic to your site.

6 - Optimize Your Images

Images are visual contents that you can use to explain hard concepts, attract more traffic, and also employ for branding purpose. People are more attracted to text content that also includes at least one image than text-only content.

One downside to using images is that they are larger in size than text and so might affect your site's loading speed. In order to prevent this, you need to optimize any image that you include in your posts.

You can optimize your images by compressing them before you upload, use CDN (content delivery network), or use a caching plugin.

Most welcome onboard, Mmanana1! Glad you enjoyed and found this training helpful and informative! As for submitting or activating XML sitemap, if you're using the All in One SEO plugin, there's no much work to be done on your own part. All you need to do is click on All in One SEO in your WP dashboard, select Feature Manager, and then activate XML Sitemap. That's all. If you still have issues activating Sitemap using All in One SEO, don't hesitate to let me know.
