7. Start Getting Orders
Having completed setting up your Gig, you’re almost set to start receiving orders. However, do not sit back and expect orders rolling in, you may likely have a little more work to do.
Here are a few steps you can take to boost your chances of receiving your first set of orders:
- Promote your Gigs on social networks.
- Create more than one Gig.
- Leverage Buyer Request (This is basically the essential tool to help you find potential buyers – clients who are in search for services you offer! You can then forward an offer to them). This is quite one of the most prominent ways to get your first set of orders on this platform.
- Tell some family or friends about your Gigs and ask them to leave you awesome reviews.
Getting Paid
Getting paid for any service completed is extremely easy. When someone places an order and such is completed, Fiverr receives the payment. 20 percent is retained, while you get 80 percent of the payment made.
Thus, this is how you start earning money selling services on Fiverr. While you keep going, there’s no limit to how much you can earn at one time or the other. It’s up to you and the energy you invest into it.

Israel, I have a Fiverr account in which I selll my music services. Your description is so accurate. It is an easy platform to work on, and getting paid is easy. I would just add that there is a resolution center in case there is an issue with clients. In addition you have to keep promoting your gig in order to get more business. Good review !!!!
