Set yourself a tangible, measurable goal.
People who start in Wealthy Affiliate set goals like,
- "I want to make $5,000/month online."
- "My goal is to earn $10,000/month online."
- Etc.
And that's wonderful.
BUT...
Then you should break down that goal intomeasurable and daily action pieces.
For example,
- "I finish 1 task in Kyle's training every single day."
- "I spend 1 hour every single day 100% focusing on building my online business."
- "I publish 1 blog post every second day."
You should be able to MEASURE your progress so easily like that.And preferably do that every day. It can be a small and a simple thing.
If your goal is to finish 1 task every single day in Kyle's training, it's very easy to measure your progress.
You either failed or you succeeded. And when your goal is so simple, you're more likely to succeed.

It's good to see you here at Wealthy Affiliate, it looks like you have quite a bit of experience with writing and more etc. You have certainly come to a great platform to advance your skills; it is for beginners, intermediates and skilled online marketers, I believe. I have been a member here for nine years in November, I have no intentions of leaving. It's a great platform!
Now back to your question; I have an off-line business which keeps me fairly busy. However, I am hoping to sell the offline business. Although the offline business gives me a reasonable income, I would like to go full-time online.
With an online business, it's important to post regularly and be consistent. Due to my offline business, I'm not always as consistent as I would like to be. However, I am confident that I can earn enough money to work online full-time as I know I can multiply my income.
My wife comes from Greece, so we would like to spend a lot more time than we do in the UK. Having an online business would enable me to do this in a much easier way.
