Not Writing Consistently
Sometimes, I do smile when I hear some people make decisions to write only when they have the time, when they feel comfortable to write or when they can flow easily without anyone distracting at all. Blogging does not actually work out this way.
To go straight to the point under this heading, some experts say "Write an article of length 1000+ words per day". Others say "Write consistently but necessarily every day". Outside the above suggestions, I've also met some experts who say "Write consistently articles that are well above 2000+ to rank well in search engine result pages (SERPs)".
Going by all these suggestions, I must say they are all making a lot of sense but for you choosing which suggestion to follow and implement, I would say "Write an article of length 1000+ words per day" to start with.
When you become a full-time blogger working from the comfort of your home, you'll graduate into the other suggestion which says "Write consistently articles that are well above 2000+ to rank well in search engine result pages (SERPs)".
We're siimply talking what you can do and how you can do it to move your blog off the ground, make it go viral in the online world and skyrocket in the search engine result pages (SERPs) in earnest.
So, it's either you would be willing to follow the pro blogging expert ideas to start seeing the expected pro blogging results or ignore these excellent and working ideas to continue as a struggling veteran blogger. But the latter wouldn't be good enough in as much as you've invested so much into blogging already.
Literally and/or ideally, content alone can rank well in search results without engagement provided it's highly-informative, engaging, compelling, topically-relevant and helpful, written every day and of length 2000+ words.
However, to save some stress and technicality in ranking your blog with content alone, it would be so profitable to add engagement through comments and the best way to go about this is through the WA Site Comment 2.0 Incentive Platform.
gosh -- sounds like the length and frequency has grown in number!?! ... need to write a book!
