2. Leave Quality Comments on At Least 5 Blogs Every Day
Blog commenting is the key of my blog outreach campaigns.
Helping other bloggers promote their business through your personal blogs, social media platforms, or blog comments helps you rock and this can take your business to places you never can envisage.
Through effective blog commenting, I’ve:
- created strong connections with influencers who are authorities in my industry
- become noticed on several authority blogs in my specialty
- received invitations to write guest posts for brands in my industry
- received mentions on a couple of niche-related authority blogs
Blog commenting has indeed brought to me so many goodies, but I was doing it the right way, leaving attention-grabbing comments on blogs 2-5 times per week..
Some bloggers robotically blast in comments, pondering why they hardly make a footprint or build relationships through blog commenting.
Ideal blog commenting requires being committed, mindful and passionate to be able to offer thoughtful, attention-grabbing, and authentic comments on industry-related authority blogs over the long haul.
Visit and comment on niche-related authority blogs every day. Write 2-4 paragraphs – or more – individualized comments that reflect relevant points made in the main post. Do this consistently and get noticed for doing it the right way. Create strong bonds and move your blogging game to the next level.
Be reasonable. Be companionable. If you must give an opposite view to a point made in the post, make sure you elaborate on why you disagree and give the point you support in return. You are nobody but a complete guest in another blogger’s web home. Appear to be polite and genuine or risk mud-spattering the house and get logged out for good.
Great tips in this post! I learned that consistency with writing makes all the difference. I need to practice everyday if I want to become a better writer.
I read quite a bit from articles from expert bloggers. The one I most admire is Darren Rowse from ProBlogger and many others for great advice.
But this post was really good! Thanks for giving me the motivation and inspiration to become better
