What is your goal?

Take 5 minutes for this task. You can use this e.ggtimer

Step 1 - What is your goal?

Ask yourself the next questions:

  • What is the purpose of my article?
  • What do I want to accomplish with my article in the mind of my reader?
  • Do I want to teach something? If yes, what?
  • Do I want to convey a point of view? If yes, which?
  • Do I want to sell something? If yes, how?

You want people to read your blog. You want to touch their hearts.

You write for them, not for you, be sure it is of interest.

Write down your goal, your target.

This will be your title for now. Your worktitle.

Not the real title, that one you are going the generate later.

You have determined what to write about. You've clearly framed your subject.

That makes everything a lot easier.

Great tips! I love it! I have dozins on drafts in my WP, which just contain the article purpose and the sceleton for it. Then I will pick it up, when the time comes. Any good trains thoughts I keep adding to the draft when they pop to my mind!
