Use Your Signature

Almost every forum out there has the signature section whereby you can edit and add a link to your blog. Most of the traffic I get from the bulletin boards, communities, or forums comes from those that click on this blog URL.

While trying to leverage your signature, try to link it to a post that is related to the forum niche.

Leverage Old Threads

How do old threads help you get tons of traffic to your blog?

Sometimes, old threads may have got up to 30-40 comments or more. So, when you join an old thread, all of the forum members who subscribed to that discussion will receive notifications that a new post has been made to that thread (Provided they haven’t unsubscribed from the thread).

Thus, the old thread will appear at the top of the forum homepage or top of the list of forum threads again and, of course, more awesome people will surely see this thread and join the conversation.

However, ensure you always read through the forum rules to ensure that you don’t violate any rule that can result in a lifetime ban for there could be some forums that may not allow anyone to bump up the threads in order to gain traffic for themselves.
