#7: Focus on creating value instead of getting rich

If you have done any of the training here at Wealthy Affiliate you will recognize this one.If you want to be a successful affiliate marketer or even a success in other aspects of your life focus on creating and giving value first! Yes we all want money but it should not be our main focus. Instead, look at being rich as a side effect of being successful.
And to reach the level of success that puts you on the map, you need to CREATE VALUE!

Start focusing on the process of creation more than the financial money part of this.
Entrepreneurs are masters at this game. They figure out what people want, then give it to them,the success creat value not sales.
Chris Guillebeau, an author, blogger and speaker, wrote a book called “Side Hustle” which talks about this concept. In short he believes that to create a profitable business, you need to find a way to deliver your product or service to a lot of people at the same
time.And when enough customers getvalue out of it, the money will come in naturally.

8: Focus on what is really important

You do not need to be a jack of all trades. Some of the wealthiest people have learned to focus and work on the most important parts of thier business first. Your time is valuable and you only have so many hours in the day. Figure out what is really most important.I see so many folks here in Wealthy Affiliate get all hung up over rankings that they never seem to get any thing done on thier websites.These same folks are usually the ones that end up complaining that this does not work. I have news for you- Wealthy Affiliate does work. What doesn't work is you if you are focusing on the wrong things. Ask yourself will rankings get me closer to success or will giving my time to building my assets(websites) get me to success? The answer is pretty straight forward. Time is valuable, use it wisely.
