8. Explore AdWords PPC Advertising

There is nothing illegal in using Google AdWords to drive people to your blog. Most people searching for information about topics likely use Google search.

At the top of the SERPs, you will also see PPC ads. These ads are for companies that sell products, while the searcher is searching for information.

Place your PPC ads (not products, but information) and you can direct visitors to a landing page. From there, they can access your informative content.

Instead of sharing all your expertise on one blog, you could create two to three blogs and promote them separately.

9. Create a Landing Page that is Eye-Catching and Memorable

If you're getting traffic from other sources, you need to create a landing page to get them to sign up. Invite people to sign-up and send them an email with a free resource. You could send them an eBook or a tutorial.

10. Explore Social Media Marketing

You can earn traffic from social media at a very low cost. You should include a teaser post for your social media page on Facebook. Include a link encouraging readers to explore more and a promise of an offer.

While you can come up with even more ideas, implementing just a few of these methods could result in more subscribers to your blog.

Thanks for more great blogging tips Lily. Keeping subscribers is as important as finding new ones. Why go through all the hassle of growing your subscriber list if you do nothing about retaining those you already have. All the best. Jim

Great thanks. We're outside of the lockdown regions and we sold our house at Maryborough. We are now in in a beautiful country cottage in a small bush town called Bauple. At the moment it's sunny and the birds are chirping, very relaxing.

That is wonderful to hear Jim. It sounds gorgeous and very peaceful. We are fortunate to live by the beach in Port Macquarie so that although we are in full lockdown we can get out for a nice walk.
We're fully vaccinated and hunkered down until the storm passes. At least I'm getting a lot done in my business and playing heaps of guitar. Lol.

Stay well, my friend.
