It's not all about me
This morning I got a call from a sweet elderly lady who is from my spiritual community. She wanted to know if I could come over and help her cut some moldings and put up a shelf for her.
My first impulse was, I'm so busy with work, and then I have to go work on my website. I don't have the time. But then the little gratitude voice in me spoke up and said "Richard you are so blessed, this is an excellent opportunity to share the gifts you've been given".
Long story, short. The gratitude voice won out, and I went to her house and spent a wonderful evening being of service to a beautiful precious soul. Although I didn't make a dime from her, and I didn't get anything done on my website. I came away from her home feeling peaceful and rejuvenated.
I still have my eye on the prize, and tomorrow I will continue working on my website knowing that I did the right thing. I believe if you do the right thing, then good fortune is bound to follow.

Great work for helping out. Well sometimes we cannot equate things with money. I believe your effort is rewarded with smile which cannot be measured by money. [Kelsey]
Yeah, you got it right, bud. It can be a challenge to recognize your priorities from day to day.
I'm sure the lady really appreciated your help. Your blessing from today will come back ten fold... Just watch.
