Where are you?
Hey WAers! It's finally feeling like spring here! It's my favorite time of year. I love watching my garden come to life; and seeing the green appear on the hillsides again. This year is a little different (to say the least), but do try to get outside and appreciate the beauty and wonder of spring, despite all the craziness around ya. You'll feel better.
And speaking of getting out - there's something that I've been curious about, and am finally remembering to ask:
So, on my profile page, here at WA, I am given the option to list my website and social media links, which I have done. But when I go to the profiles of other members, to check out their websites, they usually don't have them listed. Why?
I am curious to know why you wouldn't take the opportunity to list your website(s) and social media so that other members can pop in and see what you're up to. At the very least, you'll get a little bit of traffic; and that's always a good thing, isn't it?
Are you afraid that your site isn't good, so you don't want to list it? That's just plain silly, ya goose. We all know that everyone here is learning. All of our websites are works in progress. So be loud and be proud, and let's see your stuff! You might get some excellent feedback, or an unsolicited comment on one of your posts. Yay!
Are you afraid someone will 'steal' your idea? Again, silly. We are all in competition with one another in some form – along with billions of others. But we here at WA are also in support of one another. Besides, if someone copies your post, they'll pay for it by getting crappy rankings for having plagiarized content. HA!
Or maybe you just didn't know you could list your sites on your profile. Well, now you know. So get on it. I want to see what you're up to!
I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful spring. Even thought things are a little bit upside down right now, spring is still a joyful and promising season. Hope you've got your garden planted!

Tracy, good and interesting post, listed mine as at the time I did think that it had to be done. Only use my main brand as a site now, the others listed were early days, but I feel that it does allow others to contact you. If people are so hard up for content that they have to steal mine then they are just sad.

Thanks for the blog. I'm not sure why people don't put their links and web pages address in there. I don't because I don't want to be scammed as a new person I have so much to learn. When I feel confident to do so I will. Maybe in couple of months. Yes we are very co-operative here. Thanks Jen

I personally can say, I am an old school person. lol, I am not really a social media kind of person. I have chosen to create my own traffic through other sources.
Funny, I first began here back inn 2017, left for 7 months, so my rankings and information was deleted. I came back at the beginning of 2018 and was off and on for a while.
I began to get serious about my business to make this my retirement income. I have since purchased 4 domains and just started 2 websites from them. I am a little slower than most when it comes to retaining information. No not afraid of anyone stealing my information, or posts, just had not been ready.
Sorry if my post seems longer than your's but this is my reality.
Good post though, something to think about, I personally don't pay too much attention to that, as I am working on my own sites.

I’m a complete technophobe. I have plugins on my site and I don’t have a clue how to use them.
