Ohhh Squirrel!
What I quickly found that works for me is if I see something I want to know more about I just jot it down, pretty simple resolution right? For anyone who has attended online universities you may know a little about what most online professors call "the parking lot" If during the current lesson you have a question you write it down and store it somewhere in the class chat board. Well apply that same thing here, write any questions, ideas, random thoughts, and or concerns down and when your finished with your training time you've set aside for that day, then i suggest exploring whatever it is that briefly took your attention away.
My personal experience here as been great, I really cannot express the way I'm feeling now. I've read numerous post's of people who are just beginning, and post of people who have been here a bit longer, and I feel Im home, I also feel like I've waisted a great deal of time doing other things in the past year when If I only would've pursued this when I found it last year. I've learned so much in only the past few days, Im quickly realizing the sky is the limit. Im urging every beginner who reads this, dont run away from this, face your fears and your fears will disappear.

Does your title refer to the movie "Up"? Something that is irresistible and must have your attention however briefly?
lol not it doesn't, i actually heard that from a friend of mine who is always loosing her place in a conversation with me because she always ventures off on other things.
On the topic of the parking lot, I have found (and previous training on learning strategies confirm) that reading a tutorial 3 times is the charm. 1st time through read to get familiar. Second time click on the links and pull all the additional information together. Do the work in the tutorial. Third: review what you just learned.
This will take a bit longer but you won't need to go back and relearn it. You will have it in your brain.
