I am having trouble with picking a theme, I see that a lot of them I have to go pro to be able to modify a lot of the theme. I see a lot of them but am open to suggestion.
Hi, George. If you are just starting of go with one of the free themes. You can change themes later. You can look at the live demos of the themes and pick one that you fancy.

That was one of the most challenging parts for me, was choosing a theme. I tried a couple of different free options. I know a lot of people are fine with the free ones, but I ended up purchasing a Genesis theme. It was not terribly expensive, around $50 if I remember right, it's a one-time fee. I like the support they offer, so that is why I chose to purchase a theme. Not saying you have to, but I was in your boat and that is what I did.

I know it can be a task to find a theme, but it's really not super important at this point. I'd just pick a theme and find a plugin to do whatever feature you'd like.
What features are you looking for? I can make recommendations off that.
