Hi Folks Iam applying to affiliates and being asked to add metatags to confirm ownership of my site, can someone point me to any part of the training the explains the process,
Thanks for your reply...im a little nervous about this ...i will explore the headers and footers plug in...more research required... Cheers J
The headers and footers plugin will give you a text field for the header and footer of your site. Its much safer than editing the files yourself and you can always remove the text you enter if there's a problem.

Hello there. Do they say where they want the meta tags placed (it's usually in the header or footer). I ask because there are a couple of ways to do it. The easiest will probably be to install the Headers and Footers plugin. The other is to log into your site dashboard, navigate to Customize and then Editor. There you can edit the files directly but, if you make a mistake, you can break your entire site.

I am at the Meta Tag dilemma too. Looks like there are a lot of tutorials in the help search. Too late today. Will tackle with some fresh eyes in the am. Good luck.
