Why I Read Blogs
I've been on Wealthy Affiliate for a month now and I have been going through the trainings and following the steps as I go. But a lot my learning and personal achievement have come from reading the blogs of fellow affiliates here in the community. The truth is the trainings can't cover every single thing so there are some things that you have to research on your own and what I have found is that blogs from fellow affiliates provide a wealth of information in answering questions or dealing with hick ups that a newbie may face when starting out.
Within Wealthy Affiliate members have their personal Google search engine, everything and anything related to affiliate marketing is covered in a blog in someway or form. Not to mention the discussion thread that follows, where individuals share their personal experiences and opinions on a particular topic. And you know what I like about it? They have tried it before and where it has worked for them they will tell you and where it hasn't they will share that information as well and I would rather learn from someone who has done it before.
I have read blogs that have given me a better understanding on how to write my About Page and yes I watched the training video on that but the blog I read really resonated with me and I got it! I've read blogs that have helped to rethink the whole affiliate marketing business, what I saw online was to create squeeze pages and sell, sell, sell. But here in both the trainings and the blogs within the community I've now learned that's not a sensible and sustainable to manage my business.
If you ever get stuck with anything that you're working on, type it in the search bar and check out a blog on that topic. Have reading blogs been helpful to you?

Hi Topaz, I often read members blogs as well as use the search bar at the top for additional help. You are so right in that doing this you learn what has worked in the past and what has not worked. I think this is a big reason I love WA, is because of the pay-it-forward approach and a wonderful community of people. Thanks for sharing a great post.
