Feeling Motivated
Today marks day 1 of me trying out a blog a day for the rest of the month. I must admit that I was super intimidated to start something so monumental!
But, sometimes with great risks comes great rewards. As my site is already made a few cents from Goole AdSense, I know what I need to do is get more content to get more traffic, and subsequently more clicks.
Some of the steps that I took to get ready for this endeavor:
- figured out the titles/keywords for all posts I was going to do
- Set up a template that had links already embedded to my affiliate and medical disclaimers
- Saved a draft of each post with the keyword/title and all legal jargon included
So literally all I had to do was write my post was find some relative links and products to promote and add some visuals. That was it!
I timed myself this time to see how long it took. All in all it took me 46 minutes. However, that included multiple interruptions from my Toddler and a couple from my Teenager.
I think that if I was to already have the links on the page that could save me at least 5 minutes. That is AMAZING!! I never thought that writing a blog article could be so streamlined once you did the groundwork.
I can't wait to do tomorrows and see how long that takes me to do!

Sounds like a great plan, but don't forget to include your affiliate disclosure on each page containing an affiliate link as well. It doesn't count if it's on another page.
No, that's the way it's always been. I've been tracking it for years on behalf of Awin.com, ShareASale.com, and I'm on the Compliance Board of the Performance Marketing Association. What you read was incorrect.
