Hello Everyone,

My name is Tom Lawrence and I am from the famous city of Liverpool in the UK. As you may or may not know, Liverpool is famous for having the most successful band of all time “The Beatles” and also two football teams, “Liverpool Football Club” and another team who I can’t remember the name of.

In my spare time I play guitar and I have been in a few bands in my time. I like to socialize and watch the football of a weekend.

I have worked since I was 16 as an Engineer in the Automotive and Rail Industries with roles from Apprentice to eventually a Manager. It has been a good career, however I have been learning about the Internet Marketing industry for about a year and a half with very little success.

I need to pull my finger out and not give up this time and this is why I have joined Wealthy Affiliate. I am determined to make this work and I'm not going to let any excuses get in the way this time.

Awesome Tom! Setting goals are a great way to motivate yourself towards financial independence. Remember to absorb and apply what you learn here at Wealthy Affiliate. Keep your focus and determination for success strong. Going through this training program is really easy, you do not even need to be tech savvy to succeed.

Thank you Louise for your kind comment. I have just finished Lesson 3 of the Getting Started Training "Choosing Your Niche". I was wondering if you have tried promoting the WA affiliate program yet? And if so, has it been successful?

Hi Tom. I have been promoting the WA program a little bit-mainly through facebook. I have had 9 referrals so far. I have set up a separate website for promoting it as well but I have not got round to writing much content on this yet as I have been mainly concentrating on my niche website so far which, to be honest, I have found more fulfilling and enjoyable.

So have you chosen your niche yet? Please let me know if you need any help! Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I do have a niche but I wanted to see if I can master promoting WA first and then move onto my niche topic.

I have tonnes of content from the make money online niche but not put any of it into practice yet due to false starts, excuses etc from myself :)
