Hi WA Team,
I am about to start the final projects of my full stack developement bootcamp training. My tutor asked me to sign up for hosting provider that support SSL (https

unfortunately with wa's hosting you will never get access to what you need and all sites created here are based on wordpress...
if i could recommend hostinger, have a look at their cost effective plans ...or if it is to impress future employers then you may need to grab a deal from somewhere like bluehost or similar...
but good luck with your project...
phil

Thanks

Wealthy Affiliate offers managed WordPress hosting.... So no, in terms of what you want to achieve it would not be the right hosting for that.

Why can your tutor not provide you with access to the resources you need? I have never known a course tutor ask you to take out & pay for a hosting plan... Usually learning resources relevant to your course are provided by your education provider.

There are some free hosting provider out there. However, whent it comes to support, security, bandwith, etc, it doesn't worth it, since I will be using my project to impress potential employers.

My site has been getting better in generating traffic consistently. I started last year December, and I have made about 6 or seven sales up to now. today is the first time it h

My average conversion rate is around 9%. Out of every 100 free starters 8 or 9 convert. I mean not always but on average it's around 9%. So, I believe it depends on how you write your content and wisely use affiliate links. It will improve over time.

Thanks.
It's a sneaker review site. I kind of put the affiliate buttons next to the sneaker on the top of the page just like other sneaker review sites do.
I don't know where else to put it

What Affiliate Program do you use if you don't mind me asking

I don't know but maybe your website design is not good and people don't trust it. There may be multiple reasons.

Hello Community,
I have been using toggle button on many of my contents lately. I'm having a doubt on whether the usage of Toggle, Accordion and Tabs are SEO friendly or not

Hi, Stephen.
Paul Mindra here from Canada.

What is "Toggling Content?"

I like the first few comments made here.

Thank you for your question.

Paul.

Sorry, I meant toggling a content. I'm trying to use a Toggle Button to hide some contents until a user click on them. It's just to make my contents provide better users experience.

Better User Experience is good.

Paul.

I do, not often but I do

google will read your html page - so as long as all of the text for the accordian is included within the page then this will be taken into account for seo terms.
so i don't see a problem with using them as long as you don't keyword stuff the initially hidden content.
have fun

I have been running my site for a while now. It's been about 7 months. I have started earning couple of pence everyday but no sale. As at the moment, today so far, I've earned

I'm on the same boat. My website has been running for about 5 months now. I have gotten wonderful comments on my content and design. Still, I have not made any money and I'm getting minimal traffic. According to JAAXY I have several keywords on page 1 in Google, Bing, and Yahoo, but hardly any traffic at all.

Hey Tom,

The following video make work to set your mind at ease: Hope you find this as helpful as I did.

Thank you all for the amazing responses. I'm glad you're in this community. I will surely put all your suggestions into practice.

Thanks very much.

I am at it for 4 months. and getting a little tired. I work it for 9 hours a day for 7 days a week. I do everything slowly. I am older than a lot of people and my Brain has left town. But now if that is a picture of yourself, that you are young and have the stamina, and you got the " can't quit halfway in you." keep ongoing. Check your google analytics. Do some social network adds and keep going. Keep your chin up. Nothing worth having ever came easy. God Bless you! Laura G.

Hi - is this your men's shoes site? Straight away, there is a problem. On the home page, you have listed your categories ie running, lifestyle, but they are not clickable.

There is no menu to take visitors to the products they are interested in. The only option is to click on "reviews", which means scrolling through 4 pages in the hope of finding a particular brand, which most customers wouldn't be prepared to do.

what does your data say?
you are getting visitors so have a look at where they are landing and what they are reading and are they following where you want them to go?...your funnel.
whare are you ranked for your articles, can you improve on them
how many articles do you have
what niche are you in
do you connect with your niche
what is your marketing strategy
there are tons of wuestions which only you can answer.
have you visited you site as a visitor does and is it a good experience. does it flow where you want it to.
are you doning anything wrong, no as you are getting visitors and they are clicking on the ads - but can you see which ads they click on and are these ads anything to do with your niche- have you got any info about what they are clicking on on your site.
each thought brings up loads more questions, but at 7 moth you seem to be doing ok, just be patient.
good luck
phil

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. Just want to ask if it's a wrong strategy if the ads display on my site are relevant to my niche?

i didn't add the ads to my site for that very reason - but with something like ads manager plugin you have control of what and where the ads appear.
i have applied for adsense, due ot the fact it may help with ranking rather than needing the ads.
but have failed ot get approved at the moment.
is it a awrong strategy, no as long as you don't mind missing out on possible affiliate fees and getting pennies with ads.
on my hydroponics site visitors come back a few times before they buy, would they do this if distracted with ads? don't know, won't find out as the only ads that are on there are put on by me as banners.

Ok. Thanks. Really appreciate your response.
I'm thinking of removing google ads from my site, but if I do they won't pay me the amount I've earned that's the only thing stopping for now.

I'm in agreement with Jane, we are running a business and growth especially online takes time

Remember Every business has two parts

The Marketing dept

The main business

In MLM they call their main business their primary business

The Marketing part funds the main business

So as long as you are marketing your business then success will come.

In my case I review my Marketing / advertising product on my blog

I don't think you are giving sufficient information for me to make a valid comment. There are many factors at play, but I would agree that 7 months with zero income is not very encouraging.. If you would like to message me we could talk about it more freely.

I say you are already on the right track if you’re earning through Adsense!
Keep writing and training.
If your links are visible with call to actions, you will earn. Give it time, your site is still new.
Only the best wishes.
Jane

Hi this will be a useful WA training:

Thanks

I would think setting up the TOC as a stand-alone ‘top level’ Page (rather than a Post) .. And then linking out from there to each item on an adjacent “Post” or “Page”, depending on what the information or article is about??)

There is No “Set In Stone” Right way to do it .. Whatever works for you is Good :-)
