Entering the world of weddings
This is more of a personal blog post, but I hope many of you reading this can relate to my situation...
I have always felt out of sorts when it comes to being a daily 9-5 person. I have had many jobs, some part-time, some full-time. And not to mention the ONE JOB last year which nearly drove me to insanity!
Now, I don't know if it is my specific personality type or how I grew up (I can pull out some spectacular Bronfenbrenner and Piaget & Vygotsky research here for you, but let's not). But that "million dollar feeling" has been sitting in my gut for some time now. I feel destined to do something big. To create an empire and many empires after that. I feel that working a full-time job for a boss makes me so depressed, that I start to dread living.
Fortunately for me, I have a very decent support structure at home. Even though I still regularly get that nagging feeling of "why don't I get a job?"... My ultimate goal will be to live life fully, on my own terms, and to reward and treat those who support me on my journey!
After I have quit my job as a primary school teacher - I have the university degree and everything - I entered the wild world of the wedding industry. I have completed a course in wedding planning and decided to start something new in South Africa.
The idea is to build an online business aimed at brides who want to plan their own wedding, and also new wedding planners who need some guidance and resources. This will include articles, products, courses and other media. Now, with such a massive niche, and being only one person, it will be a challenge to reach ultimate goals and achievements (I'm sure Wealthy Affiliate will help me get there sooner!)...

I think that is a niche that has tremendous potential! You are right that WA will help get things set up, and you most certainly have the drive and background to make this work for you...
There is undoubtedly so many ways to promote what you are planning, and not sure on the competition, but there are ways to stand out from the competition...
Actually, if there is a lot of competition, it is an indicator that the market is good. Then with your ingenuity and work to create content and draw in site visitors, you can promote your products and services...
Are you thinking of local business, national (throughout SA) or international (global)? Lots of ways to play this, you can even combine them...
One person that is working with us to stand up their e-commerce store as a partner is going to sell mementos and unique items from Goa globally...
Meanwhile, he will also be selling from a different area of the store locally to customers they have for their shop (i.e. order online and get home delivery)...
So many ways to get an online business up and running...
You have a niche that will work, now it is how best to market that niche and have success....I love this stuff!

Awesome stuff indeed! Unfortunately I am very limited with the free plan at the moment - hopefully if I start getting more revenue, I will be able to upgrade soon. Another downside of the free membership is that I cannot in fact see any of your websites, although I can see your pictures - e-commerce unleashed, the coconut shop, etc. Can I enter this in Google and find you?
Otherwise, if it's not against the WA rules, you can paste a link here. I am always open to new opportunities and ventures.
Regarding my Etsy shop. I am currently stocking printables and digital products - I have launched end April, so I am still creating more and more products. The digital products are things like spreadsheets which help brides and wedding planners with budgets, guest lists, guest seating etc.
I will be expanding to physical products soon, but I have a lot on my plate and I'm juggling so many business goals my head is spinning!

Yes, I do not want to break the rules here so my suggestion is to do a search for the domain... I just did one using memories in a box Germany (image attached)...
Once you find the site, just make a comment and we'll come back to you...
