6 Reasons why EVERYONE should use Asana!

Hopefully some of you have heard about the magic that is Asana. Yes, there are so many other project management tools out there, of Trello is probably the most popular. And frankly, I know there is the whole debate around Asana vs. Trello and most people prefer the latter.

But, here are a few reasons why you should consider using Asana as your go-to platform for managing your tasks and projects.

1. Asana is universal

Anyone from anywhere in the world can use it, not to mention the access to one Asana account by a few people at once. Asana is not only aimed at successful businesses which have many different projects which need to be executed.

It also aimed at anyone who owns a to-do list and wants to make it digital. That means, the lady who is a full time mompreneur with two toddlers, can also use it. I even created a Project labled "personal", which contains all of my personal and important to-do's like shopping lists and due dates for bills.

2. Asana has boards!

It didn't start out this way. Asana used to have only lists which you can add items to. But, with the new boards option, you can create a project with many boards/columns. which you can add headers to and add some to-do's

3. Full Customization

Asana allows you to color code your projects, which makes it easier to identify which task or list belongs to which project. You can also edit just about everything, from headings to descriptions.

4. You can make your boards and lists public

This nifty feature allows you to add people on your team to your main projects, so that they can see the tasks that need to be completed. Completed tasks get checked off and you can also view the progress of projects through a handy graph.

5. The Calendar

Oh, this is my favorite part! The calendar is a semigasm, handy layout of all of your tasks and their due dates. The tasks are neatly displayed according to the color of each project, so you know what belongs where.

6. Access from anywhere

That's right! You can literally access your Asana account through any device, They also have a beautifully constructed mobile app for quick access!

Also, take note of Asana's premium plan, which allows you to do so much more with the tool. For instance, you can make a board or project private so that other team members cannot see it. You can also share a project with only certain members of your team.

I'm sure there are a gazillion other reasons to use Asana as your task management tool. I would love to hear your thoughts on this?
