Building a successful online business is very much like erecting a building. There has to be a solid foundation if it's going to stand the test of time. So, how do we build that solid foundation? There are many different views on the subject.
We all have negative thoughts and trying times in our quest for success. How you react and contain that negativism is often the difference between success and failure.
I find myself going back to my self-help books and CDs. They help me to regain my enthusiasm and get me back to positive thoughts. No, I am not in the self help arena. However, I am sure that many of our WA comrades are.
I am a fan of Napoleon Hill and Zig Ziglar. Many people think Zig is strictly for "face to face" salespeople. After all, that was how he got started. But his messages resonate over any and all fields. His funny, energetic and enthusiastic style get my creative juices flowing!

One of my favorite quotes from Napoleon Hill is, "What the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve". His style is very different than Zig Ziglar's but is very informative and inspirational.
There is one thing that MANY self help authors have in common. They say success and failure are BOTH contagious. To be successful you must get away from the negative people and surround yourself with successful people. That brings me to another great success foundation tool. Resist the temptation to "put the horse before the cart". Go through the training here step by step. Do the "Action" steps as they come up. Visit the "Live Chat" area regularly. Read self help books and/or listen to self help CDs and DVDs. Build that solid foundation on which you will erect your business.
