It is a known fact that if you want your website to rank well, no matter your niche, you need to have a security certificate. If you do not have one for each website than you are working from a disadvantage. Google has promised that websites with HTTPS will rank higher in search results. So, if you have competition in your niche (which most, if not all, of us do) than sites without HTTPS or rather HTTP only will rank the lowest.
When hosting your websites here at WA, not only is the cost already included in your monthly or yearly membership... but SO is a security certificate for EVERY domain you have registered here at WA.
Other than that I would suggest you go with you gut feeling as most times our gut feelings knows best.

Yes. Wordpress is included for WA. I tried to make a comparison chart for Wix, that was fun. I am still new but not an expert on this.
