Sunday motivation- Brought to you by the trees!
The trees have it all figured out. They stand tall through adversity, they make themselves seen and in the right conditions even heard. Yet they know when to be silent and simply observe.
They face harsh conditions, disease, and even people who are unkind and ignore their worth. They are versatile and serve many purposes and they have learned to share the world with others and still be strong enough to face it alone.
They are tolerant of those smaller than them, taller than them, those of a different color. They mingle with those that flower and those that don't, those that produce fruit and those that don't. Some make fun helicopter seeds, some pine cones, others bright and beautiful flowers, and all the while the others mind their business, let them do what they do, and keep doing exactly what they are meant to do.
They know what it is like to be at the top of their game, loved, nurtured, needed and wanted. They also know long, cold nights alone when it might feel as though no one is interested. However, as the sun rises on each new day, they stand tall yet again, ready to embrace wind and weather, rain and sun, love and hate, people from all walks of life, and all the while remembering who they are, what they are here for, and what purpose they are serving.
Yes, the trees have it all figured out, and on this Sunday it might serve us all to learn a little something from the trees!

Great thoughts! I love the picture of bearing fruits that reflect the depth of our roots.

Especially the palm trees on the beach. They bend during a storm but will never break. I have much admiration for trees!
As do I:) palm trees are my absolute favorite!
