It's Sunday Motivation time!
Another Sunday is here, another week has gone, another one about to start. How are you all feeling about what you did with the week past? Did you live it to its fullest? Slack a little? Waste it away? Are you excited about the new week so you can have another chance to make the week great and do all that you wanted to do?
I saw a quote this morning that went a little something like this:
"5:00AM: The hour when legends are either waking up, or going to bed."
Me, personally, I have not seen 5:00 am for either one of these reasons in a looong time! I am the girl that hits snooze at least five times, the one who does not mind that the sun beats her out of bed every day, and the one that does not mind missing out on that worm for an extra half hour of sleep in the morning. I am not a "morning person" and it takes me time, and a lot of coffee to be ready for the day. I love a full nights sleep and there isn't much I would give it up for.
However, what I think this quote was trying to say was not that we should all deprive ourselves of another good nights sleep. We should not walk around every day like zombies and hope that success doesn't recognize that we are functioning on energy drinks, coffee, or 5 hour energy shots. In fact, I am not sure that the deeper meaning behind this quote had anything at all to do with sleep at all.
I think what this person was trying to say is that "legends" or successful people are simply willing and determined to give the time, energy, and hard work that others may not be willing to. They are willing to put in long hours and give up some of the "fun" that others are having to set themselves apart in the realm of success. They aren't afraid to lose some sleep (although we all need a physically healthy state of mind to be successful as well- enter sleep...) or give hours of their time working hard on something they feel passionate about. They are the people who give 110% to reaching their goals no matter what time of day and what obstacles may find their way onto the path.
So, another Sunday is here, another week has gone, another one about to start. Are you going to be a legend this week? Are you going to be the sunrise? The "5:00 am"? The one who pushes yourself harder and further than last week?
Or, the one who hits snooze, hands the trophy over to the sun, and deals with leftover worms?

For me, all days are the same. Whether I go to bed early or late I still wake up at 6;00 a.m.
But other people does other disciplines. From Monday to Saturday they work with all self-pressure, and when comes Sunday, they wake up so early at 8:00 a.m. Valuing is questionable.
However, you may get up late or early for as long as you have fulfilled the service or work you have to do for that day, it doesn't matter.
I don't know if I correctly understand the phrase, "work-oriented", or "result-oriented".
You are exactly right! I think this was the point of this quote. It was not actually about time, but how you make the most of that time. Working hard, getting the job done, that's what matters!
I used to like being the "5:00 am". I've lost the "morning person" version of myself now though. I keep hitting the snooze button. I hope to go back to being the "early bird"; and I want to return that habit every new week.
I think it might be easiest to slowly ease back into your routine.
What I mean by this is to not go straight to 5:30 on the first day, but if you normally go to bed at say 11:00 then try going to bed at 10:30 for a couple days, then 10:00 and see if that will help you to wake up earlier.
All the best!
Really great motivation for the otherwise Lazy Sunday.
I'm also like to sleep in late. Most times I don't wake up until 10am, but I'm gonna try and change that this week.
That way I can get more work done in the days. Just need to go to sleep earlier...

Do you know what my motivation was today? You'll never guess this one.
I was cleaning, washing laundry, changing bed sheets and mid-day went to sit at my desk to check emails. When I opened up my emails I had one email in my junk folder and opened to delete it and before I did I saw the title, "You were meant to blog".
That was my encouragement today, to make me stop what I was doing and start writing and working on my website. I even finished course 1. :-)
Sometimes encouragement or motivation comes from the strangest places. I mean who would think a junk mail would motivate anyone but it did me.
Have a great rest of the day,
Susan ;-)
That is so awesome! The best part of this story is that you were alert enough to be paying attention to the signs we all sometimes miss. Good for you on getting started on your goals today! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the week brings you!
That's so true. Sometimes I don't pay attention and just delete everything in the junk folder, not sure how I saw it today. I believe though I was meant to see the message and it was there for me. :-) Thanks again, Susan :-) ;-)
Sooo agree!!! Good luck this week:)
