Hi All,

I just got the About Me page done.. any thoughts or suggestions ..? I have saved it as draft and this is how it looks like.


Hey, what’s up? This is the page you come to when you start to wonder who is this guy is and why should I listen to him.? Well, that's good question and ill attempt at giving some good answers.! ;)

First of all, I thank ya'll for stopping by my website. I'm Tj and I have been passionate about all the aspects of exercise, nutrition, strength, muscle growth, fat loss and every topic over the past 10-11 years now. I'm 31 right now and I'm GLAD that I have been able to achieve my goals in body building due to my "Never Give Up" attitude.. The reason I created this website was to help folks gain some knowledge to be in shape, choose a workout plan that suits you best, follow the right method while lifting weights which would in turn avoid any bad injuries and so on. I started working out at a very young age and have been a huge health enthusiast/weight trainer. I've always known that my true interest lies in physical fitness, nutrition, and the awareness of the lifestyle. I'm open to GIVE and TAKE Policy and would be more than happy to accept the feedback, suggestions, opinions, tips if any. I love to receive all of these. That way, I can add it up to my knowledge too. So, please speak up.!

What got me into Fitness, weight training.? My athletic background.

My Dad's expert advice and watching my Uncles(Mum's younger Brothers) working out inspired me to get into Fitness, start training and stay FIT.!! I was an Athlete during my school days and had a great STAMINA. I participated in various sports activity such as 100Mt., 400Mt. 800Mt. & 1500Mt. Running race, High Jump, Long Jump. Played games like Kho(it's a tag sport played by teams of 12 players out of which 9 enter the field), Basket Ball, Football. In fact, have been the Captain of Football Team until I Graduated from College...! Em getting excited talking about my past, wish I could go back in those days. LOL.! I started off with Push Ups, Pull Ups and “Surya Namaskar” when I was in 9th Grade. Back in those days I wished I had Biceps like “Arnold Schwarzenegger”. :D LoL.! I know that sounds funny.! In the 10th Grade, I started lifting weights along with all the above exercises. Well, not a hardcore weight training, just a couple of iron plates(weighed somewhere around 10Lbs), an iron rod, which I used as a Barbell ;) and a single Dumbbell(weighing 5Lbs). I quickly came up with a workout routine with these much equipment which kept me ON for almost an hour. However, I knew that not all the body parts were being worked out on.

Despite of Fitness being my passion, trust me, I had never been to a proper Gym until I graduated from College and kept on doing body weight training. Entering the Gym is not the only way of building muscles, Fellas.! There are various other ways to be in shape., with or without weights.

My journey and the obstacles I had to face to get here..!

Well, nothing is easy to achieve. But then, its not impossible. I've always gone by the famous phrase., “If There Is A Will There Is A Way”. Remember Folks, “YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU WISH FOR, YOU GET WHAT YOU WORK FOR”. After graduating from College, I started working in a night job and that's when my entire routine got screwed up. I could not concentrate on my workouts at all and due to complete night shifts(Graveyard shifts in fact), I started felling sick, also suffered from Jaundice which made me skinny; YES, so skinny that I could feel my bones underneath a thin layer of my skin and I felt very low.! :( But then, I did not give up. If I had given up, I would not have been sitting here and writing my story.! So, “NEVER GIVE UP”.! Soon after recovering from Jaundice, I joined an “Old Style Gym” and started everything from the scratch. This is when my actual journey in body building started. As the time passed on, I met a couple of experienced “Trainers” who competed in competitions and had tones of good ideas to share and followed the workout routine they gave me which helped a lot in shaping up my body. I kept on following the routine until I gained enough knowledge about different types of workouts, proper methods, diet plans, understood body's metabolism and right type of supplements to be taken to enhance the same. Well, here I am now.! Fit, Athletic, just like how I always wanted to be and I like the way I feel even when I'm not working out. I would probably, never stop working out.! ;)

My “Qualifications”.

Well, I'm not a “Certified Personal Trainer” and I'm happy I never wasted my time and money acquiring that title. Everything you read on this website comes from over 11 years of obsessive research and first-hand experience on my part. During this time: - I’ve built a significant amount of muscle, lost a significant amount of fat, and gained a significant amount of strength. - I have been training using various methods and programs while maintaining my diet accordingly. - I have been giving tips and tricks, workout routines, diet plans to every single person I meet in the gym or whoever is interested in building serious muscle. I love your energy here!

I should point out a few things you might want to think about.

I have been training people since 1996 (martial arts strength training, tai chi, qi gong, yoga, pilates, gymnastics) and I didn't have any type of formal certification until a few years ago when I decided to get my fitness specialist certification.

That being said ...calling it "a waste of time" might leave a bad taste in peoples mouths.

Also, "Entering the Gym is not the only way of building muscles, Fellas.!" Did you mean to exclude an entire gender in your about me message? Hehehe : )

Anyway, I think you get what I'm saying.

Oh, and I am a huge fan of 'body weight' fitness. I found a site calld BodyWeightCulture years ago....great stuff.

I look forward to seeing more from you and helping you out with comments as well!

Whoops.! I did not thought about that.. thanks for pointing it out.. I was expecting some kind of feedback.! Ill work on it and come up with something better.. nice to know you and yes I will need some guidance.. I just got start and will approach u where ever I get stuck! :)
