That sound we hear - it's the start of an avalanche.

On September 29th of this year, I stumbled upon W.A., liked what I saw and immediately signed up to make a free website. "Let's see if this is all hype or what."

Fast forward to a month later: I'm liking all the researching and writing, since I've always liked writing, and posting about things I'm passionate about is consistently fun and fulfilling. Cool. I think I like this.

Two months from starting, just a couple weeks ago, I paid for a year up front. I had not yet seen any income, but the more I had researched, the more I saw plenty of proof that this affiliate marketing thing is a valid path for a sustained career. You just have to get over the initial "hump" of time that it takes to get things up and running and increasingly indexing on Google and other search engines.

To supercharge my goal to race ahead to exactly that as soon as possible, I accepted Bing's free $100 in ads three days ago. I wrote my ad, wrote the accompanying blog post that it would point to, and... let 'er rip.

Which brings us to today. Each morning I wake up and check my stats. I'm eager, ya see. I know this is gonna pan out. I EXPECT it to work. If there's still nothing, no problem; I know there will be soon enough as I keep working consistently and with attention to detail and quality and relevancy.

But this morning on my Amazon Associates site I was warmed to find my first three affiliate marketing orders ever, made last night as I was sleeping.

Long story short? I wondered if this stuff works. I just got my proof.

If you're wondering the same, hang in there. Our sites are all different, but as we work hard and utilize the skilled and experienced marketers here on W.A. that are so willing to help, we CAN see these dreams materialize.

I still have a long way to go to get to where all expenses are covered. But the good news is, my friends...

... the income avalanche has begun. YESSSSSSS!!!!
