Deeper into the Forest

First, we took one step. Just one. We tried W.A. for free. To see if it was legit. To prove it was or wasn't a scam.

It seemed... good.

Then we took another step: Join for the first discounted month. See if what we started building can actually get anywhere. Anc besides... there was so much training yet to be learned.

Bought a domain name, another step. Continued blogging at least three posts a week, another step. Creatively brain-stormed and researched to develop the site's brand and "flavor", yet another step.

The trees are getting thicker now. More life is sensed all around. Fresher smells; more dramatic lighting. The ambience of real growth.

Another month, full price. We didn't step as quickly into this one. Count the cost, they say. With no earnings yet, is it worth it? Am I being unrealistic? Unpragmatic? Or wise in a long-term sense?

The invigoration builds, as do our sites.

But then the stop. The drop-off. This bit of progress takes not casual force, but a real commitment. A whoooole year.

Daunting. Is this reckless? Will my efforts turn out to be lingering failure?

Or will Kyle's words of seeing it through for months materialize, as the real blessing we hope them to be?

Stare.

Wait.

Stare.

Looks like I'm gonna be around here a lot longer, comrades. I just took the Black Friday deal.

Here's to all of us... reaching the top of the hill.
