A Break from the Bustle, for the Harmony of Kin
On this peaceful eve, all the world over, people are being drawn by the connection of kinship to homes, apartments, condos, huts, flats and even bonfires to share in the ritual expression of a superior Love. One that's unconditional, and compelling. One that makes us want to love that way too.
So we give. We give gifts. We give time. We share food. We gather around us the most important elements of a life well-lived, snuggle up in its familiar warmth and smell, like a favorite blanket while we eat fresh baked cookies. Some will even do that... literally!
Many of us on this site are here, not because we selfishly want to gain worldly riches to prop up some rapidly expanding material lust, but rather because we want to bless those back who have so richly given us of themselves through the years, and without whom we would not be anything close to successful.
Because of their support, their trust and faith in us, we pursue the freedom this business affords. Without them, all our words would just be tall, wide encircling walls of empty echoes.
Perhaps you are in a place too, where tonight the celebration of the harmony of kin, and of things that remain awe-inspiringly constant in a very inconstant age, draw you to a place of sharing.
If so, I am with you. Let us break from the bustle of verbal busking online and create peaceful, lasting memories with those who matter most. The faces that surround us tonight - look long at them, and take in their worth. Then speak it back to them, and be deliberately present as they respond.
Honor Love. Pass around kindness. Be the virtue you most want reflected in the world. Mankind needs moments like these, for when we leave... they are what matter, and they inspire us to be... better.
Do that, and we can all be, on this night... truly wealthy.
