Six Month Dedication Badge
Six Months of Learning
Upon joining Wealthy Affiliate in April 2019 I have gained knowledge in areas I had no knowledge in at all. I owe that to Kyle for his easy to follow lessons. Being able to build a website with the templates they offer and add my content to it was an accomplishment.
The other area of Wealthy Affiliate, learning much from the community by reading the blogs and what fellow affiliates have shared. This has also shed some light for me. I started strong in the community and was writing and the hit a wall with my content on my site. Researching for writing material along the way. My dedication is still strong and although posting content has been awhile I've been behind the scenes reading and regrouping.
During this time I've come to realize after reading a blog that inspired my creative side that I didn't choose a niche I am passionate about like Kyle told us too. The niche I chose I believe is important to people and their health. Not so much a passion to be able to write blogs on frequently.I really see the importance now that you really need to have a niche you are passionate about because you will be writing about it. From the beginning of this journey when I signed up and started my lessons even being told to choose my passion, I didn't realize I would be blogging content on my website about what I wanted to sell. I found this difficult. I've enjoyed my journey so far and will continue to enjoy it and the learning makes it easier the see clearly.
Nothing Lost-Everything Gained
Hindsight is great! This desire to want to create into crafting and making art work. Through the years I created all kinds of art stuff and enjoy being creative. Art Museums and Art History are things I enjoy as well. This should have been my niche.
Even though it's been six months now I am changing my niche. My original website will still be up and I will continue to try to keep adding content to it and make sells on it. My first site is my learning site at this point. Setting up my new website is exciting. Moving forward.
