Is it Summer Where you Live?
I know it isn't summer everywhere! But for a majority of people it currently is.
Summer has always been my favorite season. Nothing I love more than being outside, sunshine, fresh crops (I come from the prairies of Canada) and the joyous buzz of events continuously happening.
I spent 5 weeks hitchhiking across the country. If you didn't know- you can check that out here. I then returned and immediately spent 5 days at a music festival, with my birthday being celebrated there too. Now that I am back I spent the remainder of the week doing landscaping and fence building (some great pocket money) and packing.
I came to a decision that I was going to be moving to Alberta, Canada, in August. I have so many ambitions, dreams and goals and I seem to always be so busy and/or distracted here. I need to go and seclude myself a bit for a while. There is way too much to focus on: WA, my sites, my books and I want to take a couple courses.
While I am so sad to be leaving Saskatchewan (for the time being) I know I need this more than ever. I feel so eager and determined and can't wait to get back in the saddle and keep chasing those dreams.
While I have been quiet on here, I promise it will pick up. WA has helped to shape me into the person I am continuously growing into and I am rearing to get back and working on my sites. While my focus shifted from travel, to taking this great temporary job opportunity and getting ready to move, I am reminded at how fast life can change. Another big change is coming up for me and I'll be taking the bull by the horns.
I just wanted to wish everyone well and let you all know that I am eager to participate again soon. You've all helped me so much and I want to be there for you too :)

Hi there! Summer is in Michigan. We have had a cooler than normal summer, but it kicked in today and most likely tomorrow. Nice to hear from you.
Hi Taylor, glad you're doing well. It is summer here in South Florida, and will feel like it until some time in September. or maybe October. Hope that your move provides all that you're hoping for. Best wishes on your endeavors.
Well, I'm leaving for Michigan Friday. I love it in the summer, so many lakes and parks. I just found out yesterday that a good friend of mine up there has stage4 cancer, so that's upsetting. I hope she gets better. I'm going to have to take a break from work for a while. Good luck with your new journey.

I've only driven through Michigan and stopped in Detroit. I never realized they had so many lakes.
