When building backlinks is it important for you backlinks to be on niche related sites? OR can it be on any site, as long as the site has a good page rank, and quality content? T
Hey Te-rah,
It's a widely held belief here at WA that backlinks are not as relevant for rankings as it used to be. This is based on testing by K&C's team. Therefore, if you adhere to this then you really should not worry at all about backlinks.
If you believe that backlinks still matter, then it's usually better to keep them niche related and high quality PR.
My personal belief is that part of our WA fee goes towards R&D and until further notice I am going to adhere to the research that has been done in this regard and not worry about backlinks.

I inserted my affiliate code for my banner, but nothing shows up. I did this two ways. 1. went to the text part of my post and inserted that way, no luck. Then I went to widge

I want to thank everyone for their comments and possible solutions, I found a work around to add the banner. This is why the WA family is so great, everyone chipping in helping out. Thanks again!!!

Not sure if you've already seen this one by tommydillard here at WA, but just in case you haven't, I thought this may help https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-insert-banners-into-your-webpages or another thought is maybe you didn't copy the whole link, or copied too far and added a space to the link.

you need to add text widget to the Widget area and paste the code within the text widget.

It seems like you're doing everything right. Try a different banner maybe? I paste codes both ways you described, and they work. See if you can get any banner to work. The one in the widget might be too big for your sidebar. These are just suggestions. It's frustrating when stuff doesn't work, keep trying.

Build the page(s) you want to be in the drop down menu, then go to Appearance and Menus. On the right side you will see your pages. You can put them in the order you want them, and put the page(s) you want in the drop down underneath and to the right of the page it will be under on your menu. Then click on Save Menu.

It's vital that backlinks are only on niche related sites, otherwise Google will regard them as spam, so affecting your ranking. Also remember to delete non related comments from your site.
