First Week as a Premium Member
After knocking out the first 10 lessons in 48 hours, taking full advantage of my FREE trial and communicating with other members who had gone Premium, I finally decided this was the route I needed to take for a successful online business.
Once becoming a Premium member, I unlocked the next course in my training. Through that training, I bought my first domain and transferred my free website to my own website, developed keyword rich content and wrote my first post, made myself an official User of my site for a personal reference to my readers and received comments on my blog that will develop more ranking in search engines.
I feel so confident about my website right now and even more confident in WA for guiding me through this process.
The training is phenomenal and the progress I'm making is strong, but I do have one problem....time.
Time management is not something you develop over night. It is a skill you develop with practice and dedication. Being a mom to an eight month old definitely limits the time I can spend training and developing my website. HOWEVER, I am more motivated than ever before and I find time whenever I can. I haven't made a single dime (mainly because I haven't gotten enough training to learn how), but I am seeing such positive progress and I am fully committed to this site now that I've paid for my domain and am part of a monthly membership to WA.
My husband works 12 hours shifts starting at 4am, 5 days a week and on his 2 days off, I work 12 hour shifts starting at 7am. The sacrifice we are making by working so much and never having a day off together is for our son. We wanted to be stay at home parents and watch him grow, but we knew that it would require some sacrifice and hard work.
I want my blog to succeed financially so that I can stay at home full time and never have to leave my home to earn money for my family. I want to provide income that will help us get out of debt and start saving for our son's future.
Two things will help me get there, Wealthy Affiliate and Time Management.

And as far as time management goes...I'm still working on it.

I wish you much success! I love your attitude! Love your writing style and your enthusiasm. I also feel your pain as I could not have done this when I had little ones. The children must come first which in your case means that in order to do this your time mgmt. must be top notch. It seems like it is in pretty good shape given all you have accomplished in a short amount of time. My hat's off to you and I predict that you will go far ... take the time to enjoy the journey!

Thank you so much! Time management has always been a strong suit of mine, and given my husband works extremely early, I tend to wake up when he leaves and utilize the couple hours before my son wakes to achieve small steps towards success. I find that I spend more quality time with him now because I know how precious my time is with him and he is a wonderful break from my hard work. :)

Thank you! I have tried many times before to work at home businesses, but have always failed because I didn't have the dedication or passion to succeed. This business allows me to share my experiences day in and day out doing something I love to do...be a mom. My success is only measured by my efforts. And my efforts are fueled by my passion.
It is so difficult at times to find the time to fit it all in so I sympathise with you on that one :)

As for time management, yes I know it's hard. It's hard for me too and I don't have children to look after. It's a struggle yes but it all comes down to how much you actually want it.
Would it be worth it if you can sacrifice for 12 months then have an extra income coming in for the rest of your life?
I think so! I took me years to get to this point but I'm glad I stuck with it.
If you do the same, I am sure you will find success at WA and yes; you will be learning how to monetize later in the training.
At this point in time, just focus on traffic and not sales. Looking at $0 is dishearting but looking at your visitor counting slowly climbing is inspiring and it will motivate you.
And that's they key; traffic! once you have that, the sky is the limit to what you can do and how to monetize!

Thank you Chris! I have a 6 month plan with WA and I hope that it allows my dream to become my reality. Based on all the training I've done so far, I understand that my goal is not to make money (well at least not my main goal). My goal should be and will be to help others through my experience and knowledge in my niche. To make it convenient for my viewers to make a purchase through me if the decision to do so strikes. And to share genuine content that can be read as my pure passion in regards to my niche.
I love being a mom and love sharing my day to day experiences with others. I know plenty of mom blogs that have helped me and I want to give that same help back to others.
Fantastic way to put it. Getting traffic comes from helping people then once you've helped enough, you can ask for the sale.
I am sure you do well in these coming six months and I look forward to hearing all about it!
