I tried to install one and I got an error
Just in case someone (like I did) purchases a theme outside of WA and wants to install it through the Site Manager, you may not be able to install the zip file as downloaded. I found that I needed to unzip the downloaded file first. Then, inside one of the created (unzipped) folders, I found a zip file that was the actual theme. Uploading and installing that zip file worked. Hopefully this will save someone the frustration I just went through for about 45 minutes of installation errors (as tinkann did) when I tried to upload the theme that I had just purchased and downloaded as a zip file.
Yes, but first install one of WA's themes. Then you can go in and change it in the 'Theme' section inside WordPress. You can find free themes here: https://wordpress.org/themes

Want to chose a different theme from the ones offered here at WA. Don't know how to get back there once I have chosen one (i don't like it)
You can change your theme on Wordpress, just go to Appearance>Themes on the Wordpress dashboard, hope that works for you :)
