Im feeling a bit frustrated
Hello Everyone-
I haven't been on here too much in the last few days because I am completely frustrated with WA. My website was completely done and ready to go live, then guess what happens, it disappears. Lone behold for some reason there was something wrong with one of my plugins. I was told to deactivate and activate each one to see which one was the issue. That is when my site disappeared. I spent almost 2 days trying to get help on it and get it restored. When they tried restoring it, it was an old one that has nothing on it and all my contents were completely missing. They end up telling me that they couldn't restore the other one that I worked so hard on for weeks on end. Needless to say I cried. I was wondering how something like this can happen. After that happened, I decided to try one more time and after that I don't know what I am going to do.
I got up yesterday and started a new site and contents at 6am. Just to get ahead. Everything was going good until today. I got a message across all my websites saying that Wordpress Cron was disabled. They told me that it was turned back on and to check my sites to see if they worked. Well Guess What, my site is gone:(. I don't know if anyone has ever had this happened to them but word of advice to everyone that is new, GET A BACKUP on Wordpress. This way it doesn't happen to you. I'm sorry if I am rambling on too much but I don't want this to happen to others. I wasn't told to get a backup system and this what happens. You live and learn and move on. I guess its back to the drawing board and start again

I actually keep a copy of every article in Word, so that if the post disappears, I still have my text. Just a simple little backup strategy. So sorry this happened to you.
I understand about being frustrated because I get that way sometimes. Don't worry things will get better just take a deep breath and breathe and maybe take a day off to regroup get your thoughts together and then come back to it.
Don't overwork yourself have some fun and relax and things will look better for you. I hope this helps you out. Keep me posted on how you are doing.

I know you probably want to punch me in the nose for saying that. But today is the first day of the rest of your life! You have already learned alot! If you have problems learn from them and keep going!

Were you able to back up your wordpress site? I never got an email that you posted. Im sorry took so long to reply.

I agree, It just helped me. All the while I thought WA Back up was all I needed but having that next step is Great. Sorry for the troubles you went through ....

So sorry that happened to you. Well look at the bright side ,you must be getting pretty good at this building website stuff at this point. Thank you for the tip also.hope you all the best in the future
