So I guess I shouldn't waste a whole lot more time trying to find a profile pic for my google + account. I'm working on Lesson 9 now.
I discovered that in the lesson 9 "Building Your Own Traffic Producing Website (Level 2) of the courses, I didn't understand why it didn't worked… maybe the spider is getting lost in its own web :)
Still, it is very disturbing and annoying the fact that they removed the photos from getting indexed
I was afraid of losing an advantage too, but it hasn't effected my click through rate at all.

It is a waste of time now for pics and all those google plus followers that I built up are for nothing! They could have at least kept it for a reasonable amount of time!
I still think Google plus followers are valuable...
I do too, just not in Google SEO anymore. They have plenty more advantages though!
I think G+ followers are extremely valuable, almost a quarter of my traffic comes from Google plus! Simply make sure to Google Share each and every post. Even when it looks like no one's paying attention to your shares, or plus one'ing them, they're visiting your links, & more than you may think. Keep building your followers!
Absolutely, keep the G+ connection! You just lose your pic privileges. The actual connection is still quite valuable!
