A Walk in the Park

Hi everyone,
Every morning, Mon to Fri, I would go to nearby park for my morning walk. It is my daily exercise. Today, I took a few photos of it and would like to share the beautiful scenery with you.
The sun has risen, and like clockwork, a group of seniors are doing their exercises. You can't miss them. They play a loud instructional audio that guides them step by step on the type of exercises to do.
In the photo above, you can see a workout area with equipment for those who like to do strength building. The government housing is in the background. Tall and lush trees are everywhere.
Walkers and joggers take this path. It goes around the park. One complete circuit is 400 meters. Here, shown in the above photo, is the start point. Again, you see the magnificent tall trees. With the person walking, you can see how big the trees are.
Further down the path, there more beautiful trees. On the ground, along the path, cranium lilies often bloom with lovely white flowers. Seats and shelters pepper the park, for people to rest.

On the left of this photo, there is a children's playground. It is early morning and the children have gone to school. They are usually at the playground in the evening, after school.
Slight elevated area in the park. There is a small group of people who do their exercises there. As I walk past, I always hear them chatting loudly. 😄
More tall trees that make the morning walks such a pleasure. All the fresh morning oxygen from the trees and plants is exhilarating!
You can see the government housing in the background of the photo. Singapore is a small island, So, land is sparse. As such, it is common to see these flats close to amenities like the mall, hospitals, or a park.
Walking is Good for Health
When I was younger, I used to jog and do workouts. Then work took over and I became unhealthy.
When I was recuperating in the hospital, a physiotherapist helped me to get stronger again. I promised her that I would start exercising again. And walking in the park was the first fulfilment of that promise.
In time, I hope to do Qigong and yoga again (used to do it when younger).
